BioI am deeply spiritual and very silly. My alter ego is Fireplace Lap Kitty. I like being petted and cuddled, and sleeping in patches of sunlight (and I HATE being cold and wet). Stroke my ego, I purr. Then I feed you. I'm a fiercely loyal friend. I tend to be tactlessly blunt. I am working hard on self-confidence, and my self-esteem is much improved due to a recent personal tragedy and the profound spiritual healing which came in its immediate wake. I really and truly believe that Love is the answer. To everything.
I'm currently fascinated by the relationship between universal consciousness and string theory / quantum physics. I have been practicing meditation and am getting to a point where I can actually be present in the moment for 2-3 minutes at a time. Those of you who know me know what a challenge this is for me :)
Right now I am in the process of developing two ideas which are absolutely consuming me with passion: 1) My new SCA persona of a 12th century Spanish Jew and 2) Becoming a Personal Chef.
I'm in the process of a peaceable divorce. I have two absolutely amazing daughters. Jessica is 5 1/2 and started Kindergarten this fall, and Diana is 3 1/2 and at home with me during the day.
